Yankton #14

Hey Everybody! Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes!

We had some really good lessons this week with our friend frankie. He has decided for sure that this church is the path for him and that he is willing to make the changes in his life that he needs in order to become a part of it. He is working on living the word of wisdom right now and it's really amazing to see the power of the atonement working through him. From when we first got in contact with him to now, he has been able to completely turn his life around.

We were able to do a ton of service this week! All of saturday was spent helping people move, or do yard work, or just put up Christmas decorations and it was so cool to see how helping people can make them so happy! Because we have been given much, we can give and it makes other people's days. One lady was so excited that she was taking pictures and talking about how amazing it was.

We had a couple of exchanges this week and it was super good! I could really see the difference that it makes when you turn your heart to God, and the missionaries who had done that were so much happier. 

I've been thinking a lot about how we need to become like a little child. We need to make sure we are as pure and perfect and sinless as when we came into the world. Mosiah says, "Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as (a) little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven." So if we humble ourselves and repent, we can be so blessed from God.
